I am going to China this winter, for 3-4 months. I would like to learn some basic chinese that would help me get around, but I need a broad base so that if and when I decide to study the language further, I will have the tools to do so. I myself am a foreign language tutor and as a bi-lingual student experienced in learning new languages, I will progress rapidly.

My proficiency level is beginner in all languages. These three languages are useful for career advancement in my major of Holocaust and Genocide Studies. I need improvement in all aspects of the learning process. I would like to dedicate weekends to my study with homework during the week to test my improvement. The qualities I am searching for are preferrably for native speakers, however, if not available, a superior record in tutoring. A considerate fee amount is also acceptable. I also know Polish, which help me improve faster in the Croatian and Serbo-Croatio n languages.
