Hello; I am interested in learning American Sign Language. I am a theatre teacher who knows a bit of sign language already; I'd say I am an advanced beginner--per haps intermediate. I am the founder and director of an inclusive theatre company in Houston, and I am interested in directing plays that are performed with sign language. I'd like to take a couple of lessons per week for perhaps 10 weeks--at least until I am more proficient and fluent. I'd like to concentrate on vocabulary and conversation. I would like private lessons so we can go quickly, from a reliable and responsible teacher.

I want to learn the language my grandmother spoke (she was from Dubrovnik, and my grandfather is from Korcula). I have never studied it, but I have studied Spanish, German, and Irish. Myself and my girlfriend want to learn, and we would be happy to pay, but 35$ every time from both of us might be a bit too much for us to handle right now. Hello my name is Victoria and I am interested in learning Croatian fluently. The reason I want to learn this language is because I spent the last 6 months living in Zagreb and really loved the cultural and the experience so much. My boyfriend is Croatian and it's important for me to learn for him and his family. He speaks english very well but I can't really communicate with his family and friends. I am at a beginner's level knowing the basic greetings, some numbers and understanding very little but some conversation. I want to dedicate at least 5-6 days a week working with someone. I work with my boyfriend almost everyday but I feel like I have kinda hit a wall. I really want to learn this language and think the best way would be with a teacher. The qualities of what I look for in teacher are definitely patience learning a language is a process and I will learn better if someone can work at my pace.
