Hi. I am an American-born Ethiopian currently living in London who has gone FAR too long not being able to speak proper Amharic. Now that I have finished my studies I would like to devote some time to finally learning it once and for all. As far as my proficiency level is concerned, I know a few words and greetings here and there and used to know quite a bit more when I was very little, but I'm essentially a beginner. I mostly want help with conversation skills so that I can communicate with my family and in social situations with other Ethiopians. I would like to dedicate a few hours a week (depending on price and time availability) to lessons but cannot do much more than that as I work full time. I am looking for a teacher who is fluent (preferably a native speaker), patient, and able to clearly explain the concepts to me.
