1. Why I Am Learning Farsi:
I am learning Farsi because I am half Iranian and married to an Iranian woman. I have visited Iran three times and want to communicate better with my in-laws and navigate daily life when visiting. I also want to show my wife that I am committed to understanding and communicating in her own language.
2. Current Proficiency Level:
I am a beginner. I understand certain words and can sometimes pick up the general meaning of conversations , but my speaking and comprehension are still limited.
3 . Areas for Improvement:
• Pronunciat ion: I struggle with pronouncing words correctly and need coaching on this.
• Spe aking & Listening: I want to build conversationa l skills to feel confident when interacting with family and locals.
4. Time Commitment:
I am happy to dedicate at least 2-3 lessons per week as a minimum.
5 . Qualities I Am Looking For in a Teacher:
I am looking for a patient and effective teacher who can explain pronunciation clearly and help me build natural conversationa l skills. I am committed to learning and need practical, real-life language coaching to develop the right speech patterns and understanding .

I am currently studying spanish at a level at school and would love to carry on studying into further education, however i feel i need some extra help to make this possible and give myself more confidence. I have achieved an a* in gcse spanish, however what i am studying now is alot harder as i have to be more spontaneous in what i write and say.
