Hello
I am of Indian origin but have lived almost all my life abroad, mostly in the UK. I am now travelling quite extensively back and forth to India in relation to my work and feel that a reasonable grasp of day to day conversationa l Hindi would be very helpful. I am particularly interested in being able to interact effectively with 'ordinary' people such as tradesmen, shopkeepers, taxi drivers, and other service providers.
I live and work in central London.

I understand and can speak the basics of Urdu but would like to be able to speak fluently to converse with family members more effectively.
I feel I need particular improvement with the tenses in Urdu and conversation.
I would be willing to dedicate a few hours a week out of normal working hours. I am looking for someone inspirational and motivated to teach me. Someone that can hold my attention.
