I took 4 semesters of Modern Standard Arabic in college. That was a few years ago now and I hardly remember any of it, but I would like to go back to it. My current proficiency level is beginner. I love languages. I want to focus on Arabic now because I think fluency will greatly help my job prospects in the future. I need improvement in all the areas of the language. The area that I think will present the greatest challenge to me is pronunciation . I would like to start by meeting with a tutor for one hour per week and having homework to do for the rest of the week. Depending on cost and availability, I would love to be able to increase the lessons to twice per week. I´m looking for a teacher who is a native speaker, available to teach in the evening, and who can integrate all four aspects of language learning (reading, writing, speaking, listening) into the lessons.
