I am a beginner to the Amharic Language. But... I have lived with a family of Ethiopians for about 8 years now. My husband is from Ethiopia. We plan to travel to Ethiopia maybe next year 2005. And I would like to be able to communicate with him and his family not only in English, but in Amharic also. I would like to dedicate as much time to this language as possible.

I'v e learned a little Russian from a Pimsleur CD but need more in depth training.
Un fortunately noone teaches Russian locally.
