Why I'm learning this language: I'm learning because I want to. You know, just out of pure interest. I also listen to a few Korean pop artists/bands , and I want to be able to understand what they're saying when I listen. It's also a far off dream of mine to visit South Korea in the future.
Pr oficiency level: I wouldn't even call myself a beginner. I tried learning online once, but it didn't work. I'm much better when I'm being taught one on one instead of just teaching myself. But, if you could do something like video chat, and teaching me that way, then I would be open to trying that as well.
Need improvement: None yet. I don't even speak the language yet. Haha. But I would like to learn advanced conversationa l Korean.
How much time you want to dedicate: Mostly on the weekends, preferrably in the morning. Morning is when I'm most alert, and more energetic. In the afternoon/eve ning, I tend to lose concentration , and not really pay attention. It's sort of a weird quirk I have.
Qualities I'm looking for in a teacher: Well, firstly, you have to be patient with me. Sometimes, I can be a slow learner. I've always been that way. But it's really only with certain subjects that I'm like this with. The teacher I'm looking for would also have to be knowledgeable ; meaning that they should actually know what they're teaching. You would also have to be avaliable, as well as flexible. You have to be avaliable when I'm avaliable. Which I'm pretty much avaliable all the time, but sometimes, I actually do have something planned. Teachers also must be a good-natured person, and not be one of those people who is always in a bad mood.
