Hello,
I would like to learn serbian as a hobby. I am a complete beginner but hope to be reasonably fluent and be able to have a conversation. I have many friends who speak Serbian but are unable to teach me for various reasons. I am quite fluent in English although I am not a native English speaker.
I would be able to dedicate about 2-3 hours a week to learning Serbian. I would prefer live, in person lessons but am equally happy with online/ telephone lessons. I would like my teacher to be able to teach me proper Serbian and not just slang.

I'm a virtual beginner but I go to Lithuania frequently. I'm a specialist in the work of M K Ciurlionis. My main reason for learning the language is to be able to read original source material, but I need basic conversationa l Lithuanian as well as I have many firends there. I've tried to teach myself but it doesn't work too well! I have good French and reasonable Russian. Ideally I'd like a lesson perhaps twice a month. I work for Opera North, teach a bit at Leeds university, research a PhD, conduct and teach the cello, so my time is limited. I need a teacher who is methodical and patient! I'm happy to travel a bit; if you come to me I'll pay your travel costs as well.

I am a young english girl who is hoping to learn Albanian at a fast pace particulary grammer because I think it will be hard to pick up the language over the internet on video chat. However I have put down that I would like tuition over the internet but if live person were available I would be more than willing to accept this choice instead or as well as I am very much interested in speaking Albanian as soon as possible.
