I studied arabic (MSA) in Fez, Morocco for 5 months approximately 1.5 years ago reaching an MSA 300/400 level (intermediate ). However, due to work commitments I have been unable to keep up the standard acheived. My initial aim would be to reach the level attained during my stay in Morocco essentially as a hobby, due to my enjoyment of the language.
I would require work in all three aspects of reading, writing and listening but would be keen to work through the text books I already have, - Alif Baa and the Al Kitab fee t`allum al Alribyee series (books one and two). During my time in Morocco I was just a feee chapters shy of finishing the second book and acheiving the MSA 400 level.
I would aim to spend approximately 2 to 3 hours a week in class.
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is a good grasp of English aswell as of fusha (MSA) and the intracacies of the grammar.

I wish to study Croatian, as a large part of my circle of friends are from Croatia, and I would really like to go over to Croatia for a year, however in order for me to get a job, I would need to speak the language. W hy Learning Language: My partner is a Croat, I have lived in Croatia but have never formally learned the language. I have picked up a basic level of vocabluary and phrases, but my grammar level is at beginners level.
How much time you want to dedicate to lessons: Once a week - about - 1.30-2hours
What qualities in my teacher?: ability to explain basic grammar, particularly the cases, in a clear and understandabl e manner! Ability to structure a lesson so that it has a clear learning element.

Hello my name is Keith and I am interested in learning afrikaans. I at beginner level but I have not been practicing for a few months. I am interested in learning the language to speak to South Africans that I know and am planning to maybe move to South Africa. #

I am looking to learn basic Bulgarian, as I my girlfriend is from Bulgaria.
I have not met her family yet, and do not want to look stupid when I travel there.
I would like to learn without my girlfriend knowing, so I can surprise when the time comes.
