Hello
I've just returned from a trip in East Africa and I feel really motivated to learn Swahili. I could see that it would have been great to have been able to communicate with local people in their own language. I love Africa (that was my fourth trip there) and am sure I will go back. It would be great if, next time, I could speak some Swahili.

I shall be visiting Japan at Easter 2005, to attend my son's wedding. I wish to learn some basic Japanese, so that I can converse with my new daughter-in-l aw's family. I am a complete beginner, although I have visited Japan previously when I was able to pick up a few words.
I would prefer to attend classes in Dorset, (preferably in Bournemouth or Poole ), although I am not adverse to personal study by some other method.
