I am a beginner to intermediate speaker of Punjabi.
My parents are native speakers and i used to be fluent in Punjabi as a child but have lost the language vocab and grammar. I want to learn my native tongue again.
I would like to spend about 1 hour a week on improving my speaking skills and hopefully advance to reading and writing.
I would like a teacher who has patience as i am a slow learner and a bit shy but also need a little pushing in the right direction.

I am currently looking for a Finnish tutor, as i have recently relocated to portsmouth from london where i have already completed 2 years of evening classes at Westminster University.
My reason for learning the language is the most common one, which is that my girlfriend is Finnish, but does not have the patience to teach me herself.

I`m from Switzerland. I had English at school for 2 years. For my studies I read a lot of English books (biology), so my passive knowledge is good. I need to repeat the grammar, increase my vocabulary and train conversation. At the moment I`m doing a traineeship in a lab at the University of Cambridge for three month. Husband and Wife who would like to learn to speak, read and write in Italian.
W e would like to retire to Italy some time in the future and do not wish to be part of the ex-pat community, we want to be part of an Italian community and would prefer to speak Italian all the time once we are living there.
We are beginners and would like to take as much time as is needed to learn to read, write and speak Italian.
W e would like to have private at home tuition for approximately three hours per week, this can be adjusted depending on progress.
We would prefer the tutor to be a native Italian or of Italian extraction, although we would be happy with an Italian tutor with good qualification s and a proven track record of teach the subject.
P ersonal qualities of the tutor would have to include, being polite, patient, interesting and must be some one with a good sence of humour. We would also like someone who has an interesting approach to teaching and who could make lessons interesting and meaningful.
