Greek music
Is anyone out there who likes Greek music? I love the older stuff (especially Yiorgos "George" Dalaras, Anna Khrisafi, and Poly Panou) as well as the new stuff like Vissi, Garbi, and Triantafilos.

Arabic/Egyptian music
I've been listening and dancing to Arabic music for many years. On my first (and certainly not my last) trip, I heard a song by Gawaher. I bought 2 CDs to which I've been listening quite a bit. I found a little bit of information about her on a website but not as much as I'd like. They put her in "Sudan" as country but list her music as "sha'abi". Can someone tell me more about her? Her music has a more folk/country feel to it but it is very "pop" sounding.

you have great taste in music! some of my favorite bands are NOFX, less than jake, weezer, linkin park, thrice, switchfoot, sum41, rufio, nemo, etc. i see you like hip hop as well. have you heard of kanye west? he produced a lot of music, including jay-z. he just came out with a new album. i really like his beats. speaking of jay-z, you know he came out with his black album, but have you heard of the grey album? it's a remix of jay-z's black album with the beatles' white album. it's great! i'd love to keep talking to you via e-mail. contact me through my profile. thanks!

I am a big fan of Eros Ramazzotti and I am also learning Italian.
I was in Italy last summer and I got the chance to see him appearing on tv, where he sang "Un emozione per sempre." He had just released his new CD "9". I bought the CD immediately when I got back home. I would be more than happy to help you finding lyrics in English.
