Re:Seeking partner for help in Italian
Generally the verb "avere" is used in the past forms when the action is referred to the complement object (What? Who?): example 1)I ate an apple: Ho mangiato (che cosa? what?) una mela. 2)I bought a new pair of shoes.: Ho comprato (che cosa? what?) un nuovo paio di scarpe. 3) I saw a movie/John yesterday: Ho visto (che cosa? what? chi? who?) un film/John ieri. The verb "essere" is used when the action expressed by the verb is not referred to the complement object (Where, When, With who, etc). Yesterday I went to the cinema with Samantha: Ieri Sono andato (Where? Dove?) al cinema (With who? Con Chi?) con Samantha... I hope you will understand the rule...

Sono Marco e, anch'io, ho 17 anni, sono interessato ad aiutarti ad apprendere la lingua italiana...Ma, come te, non sono un "utente gold" e dunque non ho idea di come fare per contattarti...

Re:Re:Seeking an Italian partner
Ciao Josephine and Chiara! My name is Federica and I live in Australia (near Melbourne). I moved here when I was fourteen... before that I lived in Bergamo, Italy. Just thought we could be friends and I could help you with English or Italian as I can speak both :-) I have also started to learn Spanish... I absolutely love languages!!! Ciao for now xoxo
