not many Malawians have Swahili as their maternal language. The Chewa language is a maternal language for many more Malawians than Swahili is, although Swahili has far more speakers throughout eastern Africa than Chewa has. (Chewa can also be called Chichewa, since “chi-” is a noun prefix in Chewa that is used with languages.) Are you certain that you would like to teach your daughter Swahili as a way to connect with the culture of Malawi?

Hello! I’m looking for someone to help me learn Swahili ! My daughter is 1/3 Malawian on her fathers side but doesn’t really have any connection to her culture. I want to do my part however I can to make sure she is connected to that side of her. My maternal language is Acadian French (Canada) and I am fluent in English as I graduated from an English high school. I would be more than happy to help you with your french or English to the best of my abilities for some help learning Swahili !

Je cherche aux correspondantes francophone pour améliorer ma français
Bonjour à tous ! Je veux améliorer ma français par parler avec des francophones natifs qui aussi veulent aide avec leur anglais. Il semble somme un bon relation pour parler avec francophones qui veulent pratiquer parler en anglais ou pratiquer l'enseignement du français aux autres. J'aimer beaucoup le technologie, les sciences, la culture, la musique, les films, et sportives.
