Messengers have a binary script, so when you type things up on Yahoo or any other messenger you'll be able to see Arabic most of the time.
As far as your mac not sending messeges in Arabic, it is because the person that you're sending messages to might not have the correct font to recieve the message. Macs have built in foriegn language fonts whilst most other platforms require that you purchase the software. (Mac=Awesome ^_^)The person that you are sending messages to may need to find and download the correct software so that your text is translated correctly.
