Language Exchange - I'm FLUENT in ENGLISH but WANT to learn TAGALOG
Hi there! I'm Issa. I'm from Hawaii. My family are Ilocanos and they speak fluently in Ilocano and Tagalog. They've spoken in Ilocano to me since I was born but I never could pick up the language, though I do understand Ilocano very clearly. My Fiancee is Visayan but he can speak fluent Visayan, Tagalog, & Ilocano.
I would LOVE to learn the main language of the Philippines which is Tagalog. I'm a beginner! The only words/phrases I can say and understand in tagalog are: Hindi ko alam, Oo, Hindi, & Mahal Kita.
I would love to have a penpal that can really help me learn the language. In exchange, I will help you become fluent in English!

Looking for native English speakers who want to learn Filipino(Tagalog)
I'm a native Tagalog speaker.
I'm actually teaching Tagalog online but since the medium of teaching is English, I have to become fluent in English. I know that teaching Tagalog doesn't require me to become fluent, but I'm also planning to visit in any English speaking country soon.
I've been teaching Tagalog for nearly 2months now and my students really enjoyed it. Most of my students are English speakers but I don't enable their microphone when I teach coz I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to understand them.
