Re:Re:Does anyone have a great recipe for fish?
Thanks,
I never eat anything raw, so I don't think I could do the sushi fish but the other thing I could try it may be next week, not sure yet. Well, I can't make fish this week again afterall I eat fish stew today, isn't that funny.
take care Georgina

Re:African and Russian recipes?
Here is a yummy treat, East African fried dough:
Banana Mandazi Serves 4 1 egg 2 ripe bananas, coarsely chopped 2/3 cup milk 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups self-rising flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 3-4 tablespoons sugar vegetable or canola oil, for deep frying
Place the egg, bananas, milk, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat to make a smooth batter. If it's too thick just add a little extra milk. It should have a creamy pourable consistency. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Heat the oil in a heavy saucepan or deep-fat fryer. When hot, carefully place spoonfuls of the mixtures in the oil and fry for 2-4 minutes until golden-brownish. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Cover and keep warm while cooking the remaining mandazis. Sprinkle with a little sugar and enjoy. :]
I tried this from a world recipe book that's been laying around my house and it's quite good! It is simple to make and the ingredients are easy to find. There are also many variations.

Re:Does anyone have a great recipe for fish?
Hi, I've looked at a few asian cooking books over the years, from USA book publishers. I think the easyist is fish sushi? Making the sushi rice takes time. Just short grain rice, some sake and sugar. The fish you slice thinly and eat raw. You can try maiing fish tempura. I use 2 day old white bread and then crunch the bread up into fine little pieces. The fish is coated in cornstarh, then egg, then the bread crumbs for a final coat. In pan with hot peanut oil, you fry the fish. Hopes this helps. From California, Eddie

Does anyone have a great recipe for fish?
Hello, I am female, 28 years old, California, US, and sorry I am not a gold member. Does anyone have some recipes I should try using fish. I have done fish stew and I hve coated the fish with salt and pepper with flour and then fry it. This is the only two things I have done with fish. Any good receipes out there? Thanks.
