Seeking a language partner in French, German (or other languages) focusing on one topic at a time
Hi everyone, I am searching for a language partner whom I can help with English while becoming more comfortable in French or German (or another language). I would like to pair with someone by first exchanging emails or texts and deciding upon a topic that we would focus on for our conversations (movies, a t.v. show, a book, something going on in the world, etc). Once we have gotten to know each other and established our common interest, we can develop a schedule for communicating and eventually work up to chatting in person when we are ready. My hope is that focusing on a topic will allow us to better prepare and stay on track. I am interested in learning something new if there is a topic you are passionate about. I am happy to consider any language (if you don't mind me having to start from scratch; I have some familiarity with French and German).
