Re:recipes from all over the world
Hello Ute, I am Cindy, I am mexican-american and have some filipino family too. So I know how to cook mexican, american and some filipino food. Today I will share my favorite American Sweet Bread. I love to make it when fall begins.
Pumpkin Bread
3 1/2 cups Flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp allspice or pumpkin pie spice 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cloves
3 cups sugar 1 cup oil (vegetable) 4 eggs 2/3 cup of water 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin puree
Mix all dry ingredients (except sugar) in lagre bowl. Mix all wet ingredients and sugar in another large bowl. Then slowly add the wet mixed ingredients into the bowl of dry mix. Mix well and place into 3 greased and floured bread pans. Bake at 315 degrees for 1 hour. Yeilds 3 loafs. An freezes very well for up to 2 months, keeps for 3 weeks in refridgerator.
FYI: tsp. means teaspoon, tblsp. means tablespoon

Re:i'm a male and i am looking for three things
When you say Salsa, are you looking for a mexican salsa recipe? I can give you my favorite one.
Boil 10 tomatoes until fully cooked toast about 10 dried red peppers, the small ones 1 bunch of green onions. 1 bunch of cilantro
After the tomatoes are cooked then you put them and red peppers with 3 garlic cloves and salt in a blender and blend. Pour it out into a bowl and add chopped green onions and cilantro. It makes a great chunky salsa good for Tacos, and as a Dip with corn chips.

reply to crystal from mj h
hi sorry to reply late. for the food with vegetable and meat, i would like to introduce one simple frying dish. that's round green pepper with beaf. 1. cut the green round pepper(i am not sure how u call it, it is kind of pepper but not spicy.) into small square or long shape.
2. prepare the beaf -small and thin will be better.one-mouth willbe ok. not stake . and use the garlic mesh, , salt, some ingredience £¬ soy sauce if you buy from china town, little flour made from grain to make it softer. 3. boil your pan with butter or vegetable oil , like peanut oil. when it steams, fry your pepper under big fire for 2 mins till it turns to green. 4. put your beaf into the pepper and fry them again. but beaf can't be cooked for long. so one and half min will be ok. keep big fire. then put little sugar. 5. done

Re:quiche lorraine recipe please!
You can find original recipes on internet. I can't give you here examples of webpages, because my answer wouldn't be published.
I try to translate the one I found : Ingredients - 6 persons - 200g wheat flour - 100g butter - 4 eggs - 1 bowl of fresh cream - 250 g diced bacon - salt - pepper - a little bit of netmug
One thing very important : never put cheese in a real quiche lorraine!
Recipe - Mix the flour with the butter, a little bit of salt and a little bit of water until the pastry stick no more on your fingers. If it is too soft, put some flour more. Leave this pastry to rest. Garnish a pie dish with it.
- Cut the diced bacon in pieces and cook these diced bacon.
- Beat the eggs as for an omelette, add the cream, put salt and pepper, a little bit of netmug.
- Put in this blend your diced bacon.
- Pour this blend in the tart.
- Cook on a gentle heat for 20 to 30 minutes.
Bon appétit !
