Hey, for a film study that I'm working on, I'm trying to see what are good french films. Like psychological thriller, or period drama, action, etc.? What would y'all recommend for like classic french films. It doesn't have to be psychological, etc.

Well it depends on what movies your into, theres comedy, action horror, romance, suspense and a ton of other types. just pick one and look up some movies in the catagories, im sure you will find one you love. (i just watch "Leap Year" which is a romantic comedy)

search for any film by soviet director E. Riazanov
they are all good, good actors, good dialogues, usually a mix of comedy and drama
