Re:Re:Would like to learn English
Hello, Rev. William,

I'm a native speaker of English. I've lived all my life between New York and Philadelphia. I've taught English here for a long time (recently retired).

Lesson # 1: If you want to speak like an American, drop the 'shall'. We just don't use it here at all in speech and almost never in writing -- much too formal for us.

Lesson # 2: "appriciatable" is not a word I've ever heard spoken in English. Perhaps you meant 'appreciative'. Even that is too formal for spoken colloquial English. We'd say "I'd really appreciate your help".

Lesson # 3: use spell check whenever possible. It'll catch errors like "greatful".

If you'd like to continue to write to me, I'd be happy to make suggestions and give you tips on how Americans speak.

Re:Would like to learn English
Hi ! I'm Bill from India, would like to speak english as American natives speak. If there is any one who can help me in this regard, I shall be very much obliged. I can teach him/her Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit and Punjabi in return. I can speak english fluently ofcourse but I wish to speak it in an American accent and would like to learn common Americans'language ie. slangs, day-today phrases, dialect and shortcut word etc.
