I translated a poem in Korean into English.
Take a look at it. :)
If only I be a flower Jo, Dong-wha Don¡¯t say What difference into the meadow I, just a blossom, can make. If you bloom And if I, too, bloom, After all, the meadow would wholly Turn into a flower garden, Wouldn¡¯t it?
Don¡¯t say either What difference into the mountain Can only I make if I begin to color. If I turn red And if you, too, turn red, After all, the whole mountain would Blaze up in fire, Wouldn¡¯t it?
The Original poem in Korean is below.
³ª Çϳª ²ÉÀÌ µÇ¾î Á¶µ¿È ³ª Çϳª ²É ÇǾî Ç®¹çÀÌ ´Þ¶óÁö°Ú³Ä°í ¸»ÇÏÁö ¸»¾Æ¶ó ³×°¡ ²ÉÇÇ°í ³ªµµ ²ÉÇÇ¸é °á±¹ Ç®¹çÀÌ ¿ÂÅë ²É¹çÀÌ µÇ´Â °Í ¾Æ´Ï°Ú´À³Ä?
³ª Çϳª ¹°µé¾î »êÀÌ ´Þ¶óÁö°Ú³Ä°íµµ ¸»ÇÏÁö ¸»¾Æ¶ó ³»°¡ ¹°µé°í ³Êµµ ¹°µé¸é °á±¹ ¿Â »êÀÌ È°È° Ÿ¿À¸£´Â °Í ¾Æ´Ï°Ú´À³Ä?
How did you like the poem and my translation? Leave a comment. Since translating poem is one of my favoritte hobbies, I can post some more if you guys like this one. :)

My name is Jen, Im helping someone else to write a fantasy book, however the characters and the setting of the story are all in the british isles and my friend and I have never been there. So I would really apreciate any information or local experience from people living in England, Ireland, Scottland, Wales, or anyone who'd like to share any experiences they had there. Thank you!

Re:Does anyone know a good book????
Hi there. I love reading books by Kathy Reichs, and always introduce them to friends. If you enjoy thriller, try one of her books. Start with Dead du jour, it gives you more background info on Dr. Tempe Brennan, the leading character in her stories. If you've tried, tell me whether you like them. ta!

SOMETHING FUNNY AND QUITE EASY TO READ IN ENGLISH
If you want read something funny I recommend with all my heart John Harding`s novel "What we did on our holiday". He can really describe with details everything that can happen when you are travelling abroad, especially when you have your more or less strange family with you. The language is quite easy, his style is clear and simple. I´ve read it twice and I was laughing all the time. It´s a book you can read many times and it gives you the same pleasure every time.

Re:Russian Literature
I've just finished reading "The player" (I hope that's the correct translation... maybe it could be "The gambler" haha, I don't know)written Dostoievski and I liked it. It's different. I like the way each character makes its own point of view. Has anyone read it? There is a lot to discuss on that book, for instance, the role money plays in relationships and how gambling creates an illutions of momentary happyness. I've heard Dostoievski was I player himself, is that true?.
