Re:Re:French
Hi Francois,
You would like to practice English and I would like to practice French. I am looking for someone who has Skype for voice chat. I am interested in practicing using a lesson plan from "mylanguage exchange". Please email me if you would like to try this. Thanks.

Duck calls and catfish bait
Actually, the name of the catfish has everything to do with the cat. The catfish is a scavenger, and it has tentacles around it's mouth that look very much like a cat's whiskers. That's why we call it a catfish.
But the point of the joke is that when the woman breaks wind,(when she "farts") she makes a sound that the blind man mistakes for the sound of a duck call, and an odor he mistakes for the smell of catfish bait.
Re:Question relating william
what it means by duck call is a wooden device used by hunters to mimck the sound of a duck to attrack ducks to kill.
catfish bait is a fishing bait made especially to catch a fish found in north america called a catfish(the name has nothing to do with a cat)

Re:Re:Was ist Los?
I assume that this is something you say in German? Because in English, I 'don't see why you'd want to say it. Maybe I'm missing something. How do you say it in German?
Mark
Another thing you could say is:
Person one: Where are you? Person two: Where the fox and the rabit wish eachother good night. (the middle of knowhere!) Meliny our tour director in germany told us this in german and english.

Question relating
I read the story "Shopping at Walmart" by Lady T. It's interesting but I can not understand the last line. I guess the phrases Duck Call and Catfish Bait must have some special meaning here. Please explain if possible. Thanks.

And don't forget the opposite problem: words that are pronounced the same but spelled differently.

The main difference between a human being and a computer is that when you get mad at them, you tell the human to shut up and the computer to shut down.
