Hello Lynda, perhaps someone just clear your doubt, but in Mexico we use to say "Limon" to the green little one, and "lima" for the bigger one (green too) the difference between both is, the little one (limon) its acid, and the other one (lima) its a mix, like sweet and acid. And we have a yellow one too, that we call "limon amarillo" and its the classic lemmon that people in US use to make the lemmonade.


Hola Lynda, quiza alguien aclaro ya tu duda, pero en Mexico le llamamos limon al que es pequeño y verde y lima a uno un poco mas grande, verde tambien. La diferencia consiste en que el limon es mas acido y la lima es una combinacion entre dulce y acido. Tambien tenemos lo que llamamos limon amarillo, que es el clasico limon que las personas en US usan para preparar su clasica limonada.

Hello! Lemon is "Limón" and lemon is "Lima". In Argentina, Limones are the yellows ones and Limas are the green ones.
