Hello Everyone
Just want to say hello. I am mom of 3 and have a wonderful husband of almost 14 years. I am very interested in learning Swahili. My native tongue is English. This type of thing is all new to me... hopefully i will learn things quickly. :)

Newbie From the US Looking Learning Swahili
Hello
This seems like it can be a cool site to meet new people and learn from one another. I'm waiting awhile before I upgrade my membership in hopes that someone will contact me and let me know if it is worth my while.
I've been self teaching myself Swahili (via language software and travel guides) for some time now. I would really love to kick it up a notch by communicating with someone who actually speaks the language.
I'm an African American female, 31 from the United States, California, Los Angeles.

how do i say, 'i'm sorry' and 'how do you feel' and 'are you in pain' in french. in swahili this will be 'pole' wajisikia vipi?' and 'unasikia uchungu?'
