Re:How do you say:
In Polish you can say "pierze żabami" - "it's throwing frogs". A very colloquial phrase :) Or: "leje jak z cebra" - "it's pouring down like from a bucket".

Re:Re:How do you say:
Cantarella: I'm agreed with "Lloviendo a cántaros". In Mexico we don't use "lloviendo a mares" what brings to my mind "llorando a mares" (crying rivers). Saludos Guapa!

Re:How do you say:
In Spanish it's said "Llueve a cántaros" (It's raining amphores/large pitchers, in English). "Llueve a mares" (It's raining seas) it's also used.

How do you say: "It's raining cats and dogs!" in your language?
I am curious to hear how various languages express the idea of an extremely heavy downpour of rain. In English we say: "It's raining cats and dogs" in Greek I believe if you translate the phrase to English it means "It's throwing chair legs"
So, how do you say this in your language?

Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:hi looking for english native speaker
Hi all here is some more English slang
"Let's not get it twisted" = means don't misinterpret what I am saying or doing.
Kickin it as in "We were just kickin it for awhile== means that you and someone else were spending time together.

Re:Re:Re:Re:hi looking for english native speaker
Ahh, let me think of some slang.
What's up? (Slang for "How are you?") Note: This is informal.
Cool. (Slang for "good" or "awesome".) Note: But I think this word is used in Chinese slang. It's pronounced "ku" though.
Awesome! (Slang; also has the same meaning for "cool".)
Hmm...can you guys think of any others?
