I have been hitting the German Lessons hard the past 2 1/2 months. I am half way completed with a 5 disc speak and repeat audio program that has been helpful getting me to speak. I have also been using that App with the Owl, and I am half way done with that. However, when I took a quick online assessment it said I was at A1 level. This is breaking my heart, because I was aiming for B2 before Summer of 2026.
All that to say, I am in need of help with my language learning. When I lived in Stuttgart (for 2 years during COVID), my neighbors would jokingly say that I spoke 'baby Deutsche'.

Bonjour, Je suis Americain et j'ai un accent neutral. Je ne peux pas le francais tres bien, mais je voudrais apprendre ecouter et parler plus bien.
I've heard from a few French speakers that my accent (general American) is pretty easy to understand.
