Philosophy
Anyone here into philosophy? More specifically existentialism? The whole reason I'm trying to learn other languages is to read philosophers in their native language. I just recently finished reading a book by Jose Ortega in Spanish. It was the first book I've ever read in Spanish, and it was very rewarding. I don't feel like philosophy lends itself very well to translations. Anyway, I would love to talk to any of you about any philosophy books you've read in their native language.

Umberto Ecco: THE Author
Friends and lovers of books do not be put off by the covers of the tomes Mr. Ecco produces. THE NAME of the ROSE is a masterpiece FOUCAULT'S PENDULUM- a wonder. One of my favorite authors blending love of language and a unique and inviting prose to his books. If you need a GGOD book to read, Mr. Umberto Ecco's THE Author.
