Re: Practicing some Irish Gaelic vocabulary
Hello Lydia,

the only mistake that I saw was “It is not cold here” should be “Níl sé fuar anseo”.

Regarding “short” (in stature), “beag” is probably used more than “íseal” now; “beag” generally translates as “little”, while “íseal” generally translates as “low”.

Hi Jane,

the Irish equivalent of Lucy (a translation of e.g. the 3rd century saint’s name) is Liúsaidh.

Practicing some Irish Gaelic Vocab
So I just started my Irish studies and I wanted to practice what I've learned. If I mess up, feel free to tell me =]

Tá sé te anseo. Níl fuar anseo. Níl mé láidir. Tá mé íseal. An bhfuil bord ansin? An bhfuil bean agus cailín ansin?

It is hot here. It is not cold here. I am not strong. I am short. Is there a table there? Is there a woman and a girl there?
