Good day.
I live in Russian but I am interesting what happened in world and I read article that speak about beard names godwit. What that the beard? I read this article in bbc.com.

Hello Igor,

the bird that is called “godwit” in English is called «веретенник» in Russian. The species of godwit which you read about on bbc.com was _Limosa lapponica baueri_ — “bar-tailed godwit” in English, «малый веретенник» in Russian. The record for non-stop flight distance that was set in 2007, by a bird known as “E7”, was broken in 2020 by a bird of the same species known as “4BBRW”.
