are there any Gaelic speakers out there
Hi I am very interested in learning Irish. I was just wondering if there was any one out there who spoke it. I know that it's a dying language and since I'm new to it I thought this would be a good way to learn. thanks

Hi Kayla!
My whole family is Irish, as am I. Sadly, I haven't been taught Gaelic, but my relatives are..
Its cool that everyone is interested in the irish culture, as its not usually that popular amongst most people. =]

Re:Re:are there any Gaelic speakers out there
I am from the US and am the last one of my line that is willing to carry on my Irish heritage. I have a 2 year old daughter that I am wanting to learn Gaelic for so that I may teach her. It is important to me to learn this language so that the proud irish heritage may be taught and carried onto my daughter.

Amy, I was wondering if you would like to help a new student out? I love the Irish language, but sadly have never gotten the chance to learn it.
I am a very new student. (As in I don't really know anything about the language(pronunciation, vocab, nothing. lol) Would you please help me? I would greatly appreciate it.
