Whats the deal with "hai" and "hooN"
At the end of lots of hindi expressions, I see the words hai and hoon. Is there a specific meaning to these two words?

hai = its just a word people put in for no reason (kinda like has/there/etc)
usage: woh bahar gayi hai
word to word: "she out gone hai"
actual: she has gone out

haan = yes
simple really lol
