I you love Coldplay, how about the Kaiser Chiefs or Keane? Also great bands. On a French level (I see you're language is French), have you heard of La Grande Sophie or Zazie? Both great rock acts too!

Coldplay is a great band. Depeche mode rocks!Their last single "wrond" is awesome. Does someone like old english bands like joy division, a cetain ratio, the kinks, the buzzcocks, the third bardo?
