The writer is deeply sorry, asking for your apology over what she said to Richard which apparently was misunderstood and not what she really meant in saying that. Shes also explaining that she only said that because Richard is kind of playing "cupid/ love matching" you with her/him. Shes also saying that she shouldnt have said something like that since she doesnt really know the real matter.
