Ok, I think that means "Casero" o "Caserito".

Re:Que tal.......how do you say it?
Ok. I think you were not looking for caserito or casero because that's related to a home or a house. I think what you refer to as Homie would be like your buddy, right? If this is the case, I can assure you that it will depend on the country it's from (just as USA english is not the same as London english, for example).
In Republic of Panama (Central America)homie would be: pana, pasiero, blot (like blood), pax. So many terms can be applied in slang it would be difficult to round it off to just one word. That's just a summary of some used down here.

Re:Re:Que tal.......how do you say it?
mmm...Interesting! I've never read "homie" before but "homey" or "homy". Anyway I guess it must be the same. In such case the translation into Spanish would come to be something like "amiguete" (friend) or "compinche" (fellow gang member)

I am a Spaniard and in this side of the world the word that we use is "colega". In slang, among friend would mean a close friend whom you trust. Cheers / Paloma.

Re:Que tal.......how do you say it?
I am pretty sure they use "ese" and "esa" for a woman in Mexico for homie. That goes for Mexico only I guess. And the chicanos in the States.
