Re:difference between succeeder and pasar?
First succeeder write like this SUCEDER, and the diference is that suceder is more formal than pasar.
For example you can say sucedio un accidente, (it happens an accident) or acaba de pasar un accidente (it's just to happen an accident) but it almost have not difference.
And lo mismo is for things, objects or situations. For example Me pasó lo mismo de ayer (It happens to me the same of yesterday)
And El mismo it could be for objects too, but it sounds more apropiate to use with people for example: Lo trajo el mismo en persona (He brought it in person).
