Has anyone worked in Barcelona, Spain? I need your information.
I am going to test if I can work in Spain beginning Spring 2004. I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has gone abroad to Spain to work who can offer some advice for me. I have studied there 4 years ago and now its time to go back and work. I don't mind where as long as it's enough money to get by, especially in Barcelona. Anyone? I appreciate it. Soy Valerie y vivo en Chicago, IL. Estudie en Barcelona durante 2002 y 2003. Me gustaria volver a Barcelona para trabajar. Me gustaria obtener informacion sobre trabajo para los americanos. Se que es bastante dificil encontrar algo legalmente. La mayoria de los americanos no tienen derechos de trabajar y hay que esperar mucho tiempo para recibir los papeles. No es verdad que la mayoria de los negocios prefieren dar el trabajo a los que son parte del EU? Tambien recuerdo que mucha gente en Espana prefiere aprender el ingles que se habla en inglaterra. Por favor, dime si eso no es la situacion actualmente. Muchas gracias.

Hello. My husband and I are also interested in teaching English in either Spain or Italy. Do you know the average cost of living in Barcelona or nearby towns? We will have our TEFL certification next month and we are already teachers of music and phys. ed respectively. Do you think our income would be significant in comparison to our living expenses?
