Where can I go to practice French in Quebec City
Hi, I'm on vacations in Québec City and would love to take the opportunity for improving my French. Where can I go so I can meet people and actually speak the native language? I have taken classes but still need to get my oral skills better, especially the listening.

Hi Mili,
about 95% of people in Québec City speak French as their mother tongue, so you should be able to go anywhere that you’d like there to meet people and speak in French with them. Since you’re on vacation, you could pick a place there that you’d like to visit; other people at that place will at least have that in common with you, so it shouldn’t be difficult to meet French speakers at that place. (If people were vacationing in San José, where would you recommend that they go to meet people and speak in Spanish with them? Perhaps the answer to that question could be generalized and adapted to answer your own question.)
