Hi, does anyone out there know Latin. I need to translate the sentence below. I've check through the internet and can't seem to find exact matches on some of it. Please if anyone could help, I would be very greatful. I hope the sentence is nothing bad:I

Thanks so much

Hi Kaz,

if “refracare” were replaced by “refringere”, your sentence would translate as “Without you, I am unable to break up diabolical plots”. (I offered that replacement because some forms of the verb “refringo” begin with “refract-”; I don’t know if “refracare” is an actual Latin infinitive.)

Note that “insidiis diabolicis“ is in the ablative case; with “refringere”, the accusative case “insidias diabolicas” would be used instead.
