Re:bookworm/bücherwurm
Hi,
I'm crazy about books and I live to read. Infact, one of my dreams is to be able to make enough money, so that i could retire to a farmhouse somewhere and read and read and read...

INA! I AM YOUNGER THAN YOU, BUT YOU SHOULD KNOW I LOVED AND LOVE BOOKS. I LIVE READING. AS ALMOST ANYBODY SHOULD KNOW READING INCREASES YOUR THINKING AND SPELLING. SINCE I LOVE WRITING I ALMOST NEVER MISPELL(but I think I wrongly spelled mispell)A WORD AND MY COMPOSITIONS AT SCHOOL ARE GOOD ENOUGH. LATER. YADI C.

I am also kind of addicted to books. I mostly read classics, and right now I'm reading "Villette" by Charlotte Brontë. If anyone would like to talk about books and other things with me, please contact me.

I LOVE READING!!!!!!!!!! everyone thinks i'll slightly out of it because i read so much. any chance i get i'm reading. My parents can't send me to my room (which barely ever happens) because i'd just read the whole time so what kind of punishment is that. I really want to learn german and i could help you learn english. give me some good german books to read and i'll tell you some english ones!! ~jeannette~

Re:bookworm/bücherwurm
I love to read; it is fantastic! Books are like passports to other countries, worlds and times, whisking you away from the monotany of the real world and taking you to better places and people! I think we'd all be lost if we didn't have books to read.
My dream is to become an author if I can't be teacher and write contreversial original novels that will make people think: like Orwells' "1984", a fantastic book! Do you like it?
Write back Sinead Melay

Re:Re:Re:bookworm/bücherwurm
Hey Lissa!
'1984' is a wierd book but it's also true isn't it? Like the parts where Orwell describes how the cameras are everywhere, 'Big Brother is watching you!' That's happening now. There are all these security cameras all over the place. We've even got one on the end of our road on a tall black pole. Hey, have you ever read 'coming up for air' or 'Down and out in London and Paris'? Brilliant books, very capivating! Orwell was a very clever man.
I really love 'A tale of two cities' by Dickens and 'IT' and also 'Everything's Eventual' by Stephen King, and 'Mort' by Terry Pratchett. They're so good because they make you feel so strongly for their characters. Unlike most of the trash that's put on the shelves today with their 2-D 'characters'!
I'm very happy to have finally met someone who shares my appreciation of books. I hope we can keep in contact.
Bye! Sinead

Hey, it's me, Sinead!
I just needed to tell you that if you're going to reply you need to click on my title 'Any George Orwell fans out there?' and click on reply. Because if I hadn't clicked 'Bookworms' message board I wouldn't have found your note!
Hope to hear from you! Sinead
