How patient are the Japanese?
Hi! This year I am taking a year out from my degree, and am going to spend a year studying in Japan. I have basic knowledge of the language and can probably get around OK (I have studied for two years part-time).
What I was wondering is, how patient are the Japanese when it comes to trying to people trying to speak their language?
Any tips/advice to help me get through the year?
I don't know anybody who is Japanese I can ask!
Thanks in advance ^__^

Re:How patient are the Japanese?
Hi, I hope my answer helps me. I consider that most of us are patient to listen and answer your questions as long as you speak Japanese. You will be surprised to know that not so many Japanese understand English. Many of us can read and write English pretty well. but when it comes to speaking or listening.... few can understand. But, please keep in your mind that we are very friendly and gentle to others.

Re:How patient are the Japanese?
Hi, my name is Eddy Mayella Carrillo. I´m from Venezuela. I live in Maracay. I´m twenty-eight years old. I studied Administration. In my free time I like to play the guitar, to sing several songs, to watch a good film, to visit my family and my friends and to talk with my husband. I like to make friends I value so much friendship it is very important for me. In this moment I´m studying to be an English teacher because I like to teach people. I know that I must study hard to be a good English teacher. I hope that you answer me this e-mail since it is a homework that will be evaluated in my class.
