who uses AOL instant messenger?
AOL instant messenger is very popular in the U.S. How many people use it in the rest of the world? Is this only something Americans commonly use?

You know, I think that AOL Instant Messenger is commonly used only in America. I use AIM and I now currently live in Thailand. Although, I only knew of it because I came from America. I ask around from friends here in Thailand if they use AIM, but they don't. I use AIM to communicate to those in America. MSN messenger is very commonly used here in Thailand. I use AIM, and so do many of my friends overseas when chatting with me. But, I am in the US. It is enormously popular here.
