Slang in other languages
Hi, just a suggestion: If people are trying to learn your language, it really doesn't help to use slang (i.e. plz = please). It just confuses the person, and possibly presents them with a new word to to look up, waisting their time and just confusing them... like I already said.

So, instead of saying lol, say something less non-existant, like. Hah Hah! or, I find that anecdote amusing!

Well, I'm still hoping for someone to email me! So... bye!

Hi Steve,

You make an excellent point. Since your topic is slang and expressions, I went over to the bulletin board for that topic and posted a reply to you there. That will make it easier for others interested in this topic to find it.

Thanks for bringing up this important issue!
