Re:Princess Froggy
Hey:
Thank you! The only problem now would be how to say that, but as long as i can write it, i guess its some what of an improvement. I understand that you aswell as I have not perfected the polish language, and trust me, you are helping me out although its not much, its better than nothing. I wrote to my polish friend, and he was shocked at what i said, thanks.
Yes, i know spanish, and i would be happy to teach you if you would like. Yes you made a couple of mistakes, but it was good enough for me to understand. Just let me know what you would like to learn, and i would be glad to show you.
take care, and thank you!

Re:Re:Princess Froggy
Dzien dobry = good morning Princess Froggy,

When I signed up to this site i was hoping to be taught Polish, not teaching it... hahahhah. I think it helps me though because I have never ever tried to write it. I tried to get in touch with some Poles but so far no response!!
If you want your friend to take you somewhere say, prosze mnie zaviezc = please take me to.....
Another good one is asking , can you help me = czy moze mi pan pomoc. And the last lesson today, happy birthday = sto lat. Here endth the lesson!
Gustaria ayudar con mi espanoel, pero no lo se como hacemos le(?!)= how we do it. Eres una "goldmember"? Esta mas facile communicado "this way"? puedes trouver me "under" Si. Opps sorry finding it hard to think in Spanish. I tried to search for you, but could not find a princess froggy.
Dobre dzien = good day, and dziekuje = thanks.

Re:POLISH FRIENDS
Hi, My name is Ola and I think I can help you as I am polish.

and I have some advices for you:
- I love you - however "kocham ciebie" is correct but you can as well say "kocham cie"

I'm impressed that you and Si are study polish language - cause I guess that it is one of the most difficult languages :)
there are some mistakes, but don't worry you are really great!
- sorry - przepraszam
- how are you? - jak sie masz?
- good day - dzien dobry
- please take me to...- formal - prosze mnie zawiezc do...
but not so formal - (prosze) zawiez mnie do...
If you have any questions feel free to ask
I'll be trying to be here very often, or maybe we can meet each other on the chat.

Best regards from Poland,
Ola.

Re:Re:POLISH FRIENDS
Hello!
My name is Marcin and I'd be glad to help you :)
Polish pronounciation isn't difficult because you only need to remember how to pronounce all the letters and a few 'composed letters'.
a - like 'a' in the English word 'army' f.ex.
b - the same
c - 'tz'
d - the same
e - like 'e' in the word 'extra' f.ex.
f - the same
g - like 'g' in the word 'garden' f.ex.
h - like 'h' in the word 'home' f.ex.
i - 'ee'
j - 'y'
k - the same
l - the same
³ - 'w'
m - the same
n - the same
o - like 'o' in the word 'more' f.ex.
p - the same
r - like the Spanish or Italian 'r'
s - the same
t - the same
u - 'oo'
w - 'v'
y - like 'i' in the word 'spin' f.ex.
z - the same
sz - 'sh'
cz - 'tch'
rz - like 's' in the words 'vision' or 'casual'
ch - the same as 'h'

There are a few more, but I'm not sure if the Polish letters can be shown in here...
