Sawatdee ka Khun David Hello! David
Khun = proper noun similar like Mr., Mrs. etc.
Sawatdee = hello or goodbye
ka (women saying) or krub (men saying) = the ending polite word in the sentences
sawatdee krub = hello or goodbye (men saying)
la korn ka or la korn krub = goodbye
khob Khun ka = Thank you (women to say) Khob Khun krub = Thank you (men to say)
Un ni taow rai ka or krub = how much is this one?
Pom (men saying)or Chan (men or women saying) ja pai rod taxi krub = I'd like to take a taxi
