Hello! My name is August!
I am a lover of many things; I enjoy reading, writing, and indulging in my favorite media. Right now, I'm in love with the Marvel Franchise - especially Deadpool! I can't wait for the new movie haha. Plus, I am currently reading a few mangas (Fullmetal Alchemist, Spy Family, and Assassination Classroom right now!!) and rewatching a few childhood favorite shows (Did you know Ninjago is still going on?? I didn't, but here we are with season 18). I could talk about my interests for days on end if prompted! Don't worry, though, I won't talk your ear off if you're not interested in the things I enjoy.
Additionally, I really enjoy just hanging out with and making more friends. That's why I want to learn how to communicate in different languages; I don't want to be blocked by something as simple as a language barrier when I want to make friends. I wish to one day know more languages than I can count on my fingers (as silly as that may sound). The day that I can comfortably speak to others without worry for a language barrier will be the day that I am happiest.
Though I am just 17, I have already decided on my future career. I adore English as a language and art form; writing is a passion of mine that I hope to share. So, I want to become an English teacher or professor. I toyed with the idea of going into journalism since I am currently the editor-in-chief of my school's online news, but I decided my passion does not lie in the strict and tight writing style that is in journalism.
Sorry for the length of this! I'm sure you weren't looking for an autobiography, but I didn't really know what to say! Lol
