Instead of "Sora wa Doitsujin desu!", in French we say "Le ciel est allemand!"

Is "Sora" a name of a person? "...jin" means "a person who originate ...(Name of country such as Furansu)" And then"Sora is a German." is correct in English.
If you want to mean "The sky is made by German.(Funny!)", "Sora wa doitsu sei desu." Or you mean "The sky is owned by German.", then "Sora wa doitsu no mono da" is correct.
