this was a good challenge for me
Instead of "hahaoya and otokooya", in English we say "mother and father"

I have heard of Haha and Okasan meaning mother and Chichi and Otosan meaning father, but I have never heard of hahaoya and otokooya. Are they affectionate terms for your parents? Are they like how we say Mummy instead of Mother and Daddy instead of Father?
Instead of "hahaoya and otokooya", in English we say "Mum and Dad"
