Instead of "Anata wa kawaii desu", in Spanish we say "Eres tierno"

Isn't "suteki-yo(g->b)/suteki-dayo(b->g)" a less formal way of saying the same thing?

And also, "kirei-dayo(b->g)" means "you look beautiful", doesn't it?

That's what I've heard, and I'm not sure if it's correct or not. If I'm wrong, just ignore me. I'm completely new to the language, so it's very possible I'm just full of crap.
